Senior API Inspector/Project Lead

Job Summary
Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API and ASME standards. Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition and provide client recommendations for repair, re-rating, replacement, or alteration of plant equipment. Offer technical input for welding and metallurgical issues while guiding applications of non-destructive examination techniques. Fully comply with all site safe work practices and actively participate in safety initiatives. This callout/travel position requires up to 90% travel throughout Augusta GA and surrounding areas, including corn, agricultural, petro-chemical, and pharmaceutical environments. Certification of API 510/570 is required.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570
- 5 – 10 years' experience or 2+ years on site experience
- In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards
- Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers
- Successful candidates must be able to travel up to 90% throughout Augusta GA and surrounding areas
- Willingness to travel if needed

- Additional API 653 or CWI a plus
