Job Summary
Senior Animation Programmer to join the Engine Animation Team using the in-house Asura engine to implement character animations and support gameplay systems. Responsibilities include developing animation code for the in-house engine, maintaining and expanding animation features and tools, collaborating with content creators, writing and testing large classes and code, debugging complex issues, creating and updating technical/user documentation, and supporting other teammates. The role is based in UK studios (Oxford or Warwick) with a relocation package and hybrid work options; relocation support and studio-based collaboration are available.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the architecture and internal workings of real-time animation systems.
- High proficiency in C++, with experience developing and maintaining complex systems.
- Confident using IDEs, debugging tools, and profiling techniques to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Experience designing and implementing Finite State Machines and related animation control systems.
- Good working knowledge of 3D mathematics and geometry.

- Experience with in-house game engine development
