Job Summary
Develop scalable, high-performance front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript to build intuitive interfaces for complex genomic workflows. Design reusable components and frameworks that support product scalability while optimizing application performance for large datasets and interactive visualization tools. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to drive front-end architecture, coding standards, and testing strategies. Mentor team members through code reviews and technical guidance, contributing to architectural decisions within an international engineering environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience developing modern web applications with Angular and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), front-end architecture, and scalable application design
- Experience working with state management solutions such as NgRx, RxJS, Signals, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integration with complex back-end services
Desired Qualifications
- GraphQL experience
- Experience building data-intensive applications, dashboards, visualisation tools, or analytical platforms
- Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to contribute effectively within international teams
- Healthcare, life sciences, biotech, clinical, or scientific software environments
- Data visualisation technologies such as D3.js or similar charting frameworks
- Angular component libraries and design systems
- Modern development tooling including Angular CLI, Vite, or Webpack
- Cloud-based environments such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
