Lead architectural direction and deliver high-impact Android features for Just Eat Takeaway.com's mobile platform. Drive system architecture discussions for Kotlin-based Android apps, including background location services, offline data sync, and intelligent routing within Android constraints. Champion engineering excellence through reducing technical debt, optimizing multi-module architectures, and advancing CI/CD automation. Mentor engineers via code reviews and coaching, and collaborate with Product Managers and backend teams to align the technical roadmap with long-term objectives. Own end-to-end feature lifecycles from API contracts to UI implementation, and tackle complex problems across background services, data synchronization, and pathfinding while pushing for performance and build-time improvements.
