Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain scalable Android features in a high-impact, fast-paced environment, driving end-to-end ownership from technical design to deployment and business impact measurement. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, iOS, and Backend teams to ship world-class features used by millions of users, while owning app performance, stability, and continuous optimization. Act as a driver of engineering and product culture, pushing the team toward excellence, sharing best practices, and innovating on the Android tech stack to explore AI opportunities that enhance the user experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Android development with strong mastery of modern architectures and engineering best practices
- Proven track record building high-traffic B2C apps (ideally social, media, or entertainment)
- Product mindset: genuine passion for crafting exceptional user experiences (smooth animations, polished interfaces)
- Data-driven approach: you make decisions based on metrics and analytics
- Pragmatic and results-oriented: you know how to find smart shortcuts to maximize business impact without sacrificing quality
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Desired Qualifications
- French is a plus
- Experience integrating AI/ML features into mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of modern frameworks: Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, Architecture Components
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization
- Rapid iteration culture and continuous shipping mindset
- Contributions to open-source projects or tech leadership in Android communities
- Interest in social app trends and understanding of user behaviors
