Job Summary
Senior Analytics Manager leads a seven-person analytics team, driving BI delivery across the bank, shaping the future BI function and collaborating with data engineering and analytics leadership. Responsibilities include prioritisation and stakeholder management across diverse demand, maintaining and evolving reporting infrastructure (dbt models, Tableau dashboards, Python-based MI packs), addressing dashboard sprawl with governance and cost-efficiency, ensuring data quality and consistency, and partnering to design scalable BI solutions. The role emphasizes building a semantic layer, guiding the future vision of the BI function, staying ahead of BI innovations (AI-assisted analysis, interactive dashboards, new platforms), and enabling AI adoption within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership and people development experience leading a BI/analytics team
- Analytics experience across BI, analytics, product analytics or adjacent data disciplines
- Business-first mindset focused on outcomes and value
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to navigate senior relationships
- BI strategy and vision for BI function
- Technical fluency in SQL, Python and Tableau (or equivalent BI tooling)
- Experience with semantic layers, data modeling and modern BI approaches (e.g. dbt, Streamlit, LookML)
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change
- AI fluency and track record of AI-powered data products is a strong advantage
- Fintech or financial services experience is an advantage
