Job Summary
Senior Analytics Engineer responsible for building and maintaining the semantic layer and analytics pipelines for Sponsored Content & Products. Responsibilities include production-grade data transformations and metric definitions in Google BigQuery to enable robust performance and budget reporting for bidding marketplaces; establish automated data validation frameworks and schema checks to protect dashboards and analytic tables from upstream drift; lead migration of legacy transformation rules into modular, decoupled analytics environments; collaborate with Data Engineers to delineate clean data-model boundaries around shared catalog assets (products, brands) connecting decentralized product stacks to core platform endpoints; set analytics engineering standards, promote reusable data blueprints, and drive scalable, incremental transformations. Strong emphasis on data modeling principles, modularity, data quality engineering (declarative checks, regression validations, QA tests), and clear communication of complex data structures to software engineers. The role requires autonomy, initiative, and a proactive approach to turning loose business requirements into reliable, standardized metrics environments. Nice-to-have skills include dbt experience and domain expertise in e-commerce/retail-tech/adtech, with a collaborative, inclusive culture emphasized by the company.
