Job Summary
Senior Analytics Engineer to design analytics-ready data models and semantic layers, develop transformation frameworks using DBT, Databricks, and cloud-native technologies; translate business requirements into scalable data models; establish modeling standards, governance, and testing; implement data quality validation and lineage; collaborate with data engineers, product managers, analysts, and business partners; lead analytics engineering initiatives from design to deployment and optimization; leverage SQL, DBT, Databricks, Azure/AWS, and Python to build enterprise-scale data products and simplify the analytics landscape.
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing and delivering enterprise-scale analytics frameworks and data transformation structures
- Strong hands-on SQL, DBT, and Databricks experience
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure and/or AWS
- Proficiency in Python or similar language for transformation logic, automation, and validation workflows
- Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, semantic layer architecture, and data warehousing methodologies
- Experience implementing data quality frameworks, automated testing, and documentation standards
- Ability to lead complex workstreams and influence technical decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to translate data concepts to business definitions
- Experience supporting advanced analytics or AI-enabled use cases is a plus
