Job Summary
Senior Analytics Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer on a long-term subcontract. Develop and maintain high-performance analytic solutions that process large data volumes using cloud-based analytics, big data technologies, and distributed computing. Role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, U.S. citizenship, and 14+ years of software engineering experience (BS in CS or equivalent, with substitution options). Location in Annapolis Junction, MD with work-from-home opportunities; salary $180k–$260k plus benefits and sign-on eligible. Key skills include Spark/MapReduce/SQL/NOSQL, Pandas/Numpy/SciPy, and experience delivering analytics solutions in government/regulated environments; strong communication and independent/team collaboration capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (in-scope poly, within 7 years)
- U.S. Citizenship
- 14+ years Software Engineering experience
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or four years of additional SWE experience in lieu of a bachelor’s)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in Spark and/or MapReduce and/or SQL/NOSQL and/or Pandas/Numpy/SciPy
