Job Summary
Own domain data warehouse within core product domain; build the semantic layer that provides context, definitions, and structure for AI agents and business stakeholders; lead projects from initial definition to delivery with stakeholder impact and testing strategies; balance strategic roadmap with technical execution; proactively monitor and govern data products and design alerting to catch anomalies; deliver hands-on data models using modern software engineering practices (version control, testing, CI/CD); collaborate to reinforce best practices for query development, version control, documentation, and testing; manage overall pipeline orchestration using Airflow (Cloud Composer); promote best practices for data products and data-quality across the platform; role is embedded within a hybrid Madrid-based setup.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in analytics engineering
- dbt, SQL, data modeling
- Strong SQL
- finance domain knowledge (P&L, FX, reconciliation)
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design and data structure
- Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)
