Job Summary
Lead testing of incoming raw materials and in-process batches using GC, IR, and HPLC instrumentation while communicating pass/fail results and identifying out-of-specification parameters. Provide recommendations for re-work or re-blend of non-conforming batches and collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain laboratory instruments, perform scheduled calibrations, and prepare required reports. Continuously improve testing methodologies, documentation, and standard operating procedures. Work Monday through Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm CT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
- Five to Seven (5-7) years of experience in a similar analytical or laboratory role
- Working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and analytical method development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with pesticide analysis and extraction is preferred
