Job Summary
Senior Analyst – UMR & Escalations responsible for risk-based investigations into unusual transactions and customer behavior; apply AML/CTF and Financial Economic Crime knowledge to assess suspicion and determine escalation pathways; document investigations with evidence and decisions meeting ING standards; partner with internal teams to support Suspicious Matter Report (SMR) preparation and submission; contribute to continuous improvement of investigation quality and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in transaction monitoring, AML/CTF investigations, or financial crime within banking or financial services
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data
- Ability to produce clear, well-structured documentation
- Strong communication and stakeholder-influence abilities
- Proactive mindset to challenge and improve processes
