Job Summary
Senior Analyst in the Tech & Society Studio will be a core member of project teams across a portfolio of work at HR&A, supporting quantitative and qualitative analysis, program evaluation, and strategy development. Responsibilities include quantitative and qualitative analysis (policy analysis, economic and fiscal impact modeling), project/program management, developing written reports and client presentations, supporting or leading community engagement processes (stakeholder interviews, participatory design), managing workstreams and mentoring junior staff, contributing to business development through proposals, and applying AI tools to accelerate research. Ideal candidates have 4–6+ years of relevant experience in technology and policy intersections, strong communication skills, and familiarity with software tools (React, Vercel, Node, Github, Mapbox), GIS/spatial analysis, and a Master’s degree is preferred. The role supports a hybrid work policy (office at least three days per week) with a base salary range of $105,100–$122,673, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
- Experience at the intersection of technology delivery and policy in civic tech, govtech, internet infrastructure, digital services, or a comparable environment
- Experience communicating with policymakers, community organizations, and executive audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and attention to detail
- Proficiency in AI tools (e.g., LLMs) and responsible use of AI tools
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
