Senior Analyst, Sourcing Analytics

Job Summary

Develop spend cubes, category taxonomies, and item master standards to establish foundational data infrastructure for enterprise sourcing. Conduct supplier concentration, fragmentation, and overlap analysis to identify consolidation opportunities and quantify addressable spend. Build real-time dashboards and self-service analytics for category managers while tracking opportunity progression from identification through savings realization. Partner with sourcing leads, procurement, and finance to translate insights into prioritized sourcing actions and wave planning. Requires advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and SQL, with experience in large data extracts and ERP platforms. Located in Charlotte, full-time, exempt.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • Three (3) to Six (6) years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, data/spend/finance analytics, or related fields
  • Advanced proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience developing spend analytics, supplier analytics, category taxonomies, and/or spend cube methodologies
  • Ability to work with large data extracts and structure them into usable sourcing views
  • High proficiency in Excel and/or SQL
  • Ability to translate large datasets into actionable insights
  • Ability to identify supplier concentration, price variance, fragmentation, inventory standardization, supplier consolidation, and savings opportunities
  • Experience extracting, cleansing, reconciling, and analyzing data from ERP, procurement, inventory, and CMMS platforms (Workday, Maximo, SAP, Coupa, or similar)
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to sourcing, finance, operations, and leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure data translates into executable sourcing actions
  • Self-starter with strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under a deadline
  • Must be able to accomplish physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, and close and distance vision capability
  • Ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the energy or utility sector
  • Direct spend cube design experience
  • CPSM or CPIM certification
