Job Summary
Review operational controls by supporting quality checks and control self-assessments of initiative-level data against signed contracts and SOWs. Monitor accounting for agreements to ensure compliance with MasterCard policies and adhere to monthly and year-end close schedules while performing reporting and variance analysis. Provide revenue customer service support to resolve processing issues and participate in SOX testing and internal and external audits. Represent GBSC on cross-functional project teams to identify, recommend, and monitor resolution of expense accounting process initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Customer service skills (communication with customers and process partners)
- Excellent spreadsheet and word processing skills (Excel and Word preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Prior related work experience, with revenue accounting experience preferred
- Knowledge of revenue accounting and management processes and systems
- Experience in shared services/internal service delivery role a plus
- Experience as a team member on project development/implementation teams a plus
