Senior Analyst

Senior Analyst role focusing on policy analysis and research related to cash, money, and payments. Responsibilities include engaging with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to policy development to ensure practicality and robustness, building capability to deliver outcomes aligned with policy goals, and advising policy makers while presenting material to internal working groups, steering groups, and advisory groups as well as the payments and currencies committee. Requires a tertiary qualification in economics/finance/law and/or public policy, strong analytical and conceptual skills, excellent relationship management, and the ability to influence key audiences. The position is a fixed-term opportunity through to June 2027 and located in Wellington and Auckland, New Zealand.
