Job Summary
Execute and review balance sheet reconciliations in alignment with COE standards, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policy. Validate supporting documentation to maintain a clear audit trail, apply risk-based review principles to high-risk accounts, and identify unsupported balances prior to certification. Manage the full lifecycle of reconciling items by tracking aging, driving root cause resolution, and escalating complex discrepancies to business partners. Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to reinforce quality standards, manage day-to-day expectations, and drive accountability for timely issue resolution. Ensure all activities adhere to SOX control requirements and enterprise governance to support internal and external audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting, reconciliation, or financial operations experience
- Experience performing or reviewing balance sheet reconciliations in a controlled environment
- Knowledge of SOX controls and financial reporting processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or progress toward certification
- Experience in a shared services or COE model
- Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation platforms
- Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Exposure to process improvement or transformation initiatives
- Strong communication skills with experience working across onshore/offshore teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
