Job Summary
Execute and review balance sheet reconciliations in alignment with COE standards, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policy. Validate supporting documentation to maintain clear audit trails, apply risk-based review principles to high-risk accounts, and identify unsupported balances prior to certification. Manage the full lifecycle of reconciling items, including root cause identification, aging monitoring, and partnership with business teams to resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with onshore and offshore resources to drive consistency, manage day-to-day expectations, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances. Support internal and external audit requests, maintain adherence to SOX controls, and contribute to automation initiatives and process improvements within the Controllership organization.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting, reconciliation, or financial operations experience
- Experience performing or reviewing balance sheet reconciliations in a controlled environment
- Knowledge of SOX controls and financial reporting processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or progress toward certification
- Experience in a shared services or COE model
- Experience with BlackLine or similar reconciliation platforms
- Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Exposure to process improvement or transformation initiatives
- Strong communication skills with experience working across onshore/offshore teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
