Job Summary
Analyze complex onboard revenue datasets to uncover trends in guest spending, dining preferences, and retail sales, developing predictive models for demand forecasting and dynamic pricing. Maintain data quality across tracking systems by implementing validation processes and automated pipelines, while creating dashboards that deliver actionable insights to revenue managers and leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing strategies, evaluate promotional campaigns, and personalize guest experiences through recommendation systems and inventory management improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or related quantitative field
- 6+ years of experience with SQL for database querying and data manipulation
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Understanding of statistical concepts including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and experimental design
- Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their applications
- Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract meaningful insights
- Strong analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and quality assurance techniques
- Ability to identify business problems that can be solved through data analysis
- Comfort working with ambiguous problems and developing structured approaches to analysis
- Love for data analysis
- Experience creating compelling data visualizations and presentations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Proactive approach to learning and professional development
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
