Job Summary
Senior Analyst - Model Audit: A financial modelling consultancy role focused on analysing and reviewing complex financial models to ensure robustness and reliability. You will work with a team to identify modelling errors using software checks and parallel model development, take ownership of assignments, contribute to methodologies and tools, and prepare comprehensive documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and results. The position emphasizes collaboration, clear communication of model findings to clients and internal teams, simplifying complex model issues for non-technical stakeholders, and leveraging Excel and FAST modeling standards. Flexible working arrangements are noted (office/home/client sites).
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a financial analysis role within a recognised advisory practice or large corporate setting
- Good appreciation of accounting concepts
- Understanding of Project Finance concepts
- Experience with Excel for building and operating financial models
- Degree qualified in a numerate discipline (postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial)
- FAST financial modeling standard desirable
- Contractual basis of 6 months
- Ability to communicate model findings to clients and internal teams
- Prepare comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results
