Job Summary
Senior Analyst – Mergers and Acquisitions will support the agency’s acquisition strategy by assisting with financial due diligence and coordinating financial integration activities for newly acquired businesses. Work with Corporate Accounting, Operational Accounting, and Operational leadership to ensure integration into the financial reporting structure from diligence through post-close integration and the earnout period. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing target company financial data, preparing historical performance schedules, serving as the finance point of contact post-closing, mapping financial data to reporting formats, assisting with system migrations, developing a Purchase Accounting Workbook, coordinating monthly integration reporting, and maintaining integration checklists. The role requires collaboration across finance, accounting, and operations, and encourages the use of AI/assistive technology. Travel to acquisitions (approximately 2–3 visits per acquisition) and occasional visits to OKC/Austin offices are expected.
Required Qualifications
- 4 – 6 years of accounting, financial analysis, or transaction advisory experience
- 2 – 4 years of acquisition diligence or post-merger integration experience
- 2 – 4 years of transaction advisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- Willingness to travel 2-3 visits per acquisition and to the OKC/Austin offices for required meetings
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project-management skills
- Ability to learn, adapt, and work within acquired agency systems
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
- Experience using AI/assistive technology in job duties
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to company policies
Desired Qualifications
