Job Summary
Senior Analyst to join Rio Tinto's Copper Market Analysis team in Singapore. Build and maintain excel-based models to deliver high-quality analysis, market intelligence and forecasts that support commercial decision-making. Analyze competitor, customer and end-user data to identify trends and opportunities; develop market narratives for internal stakeholders; collaborate with Sales and Market Analysis teams to solve commercial problems; proactively identify analytical improvements and deliver insights.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in a research or analysis focused role
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in modelling and data analysis
- Ability to synthesise quantitative and qualitative information into clear insights
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
- Willingness to learn new tools and platforms
- Experience building and managing supply-demand models and forecasting tools (beneficial)
