Job Summary
Responsibilities include conducting complex data and financial analysis, financial interpretation of contract terms, contract modeling, data validation, and developing reimbursement methodologies. Candidates must confidently present work products to leaders and executives, influencing decision-making and optimizing revenue. Candidates are expected to extract, validate, and manipulate large datasets with programming skills such as SQL, SAS, or Python, monitor financial performance of contracts, and provide consultative analytic support related to managed care.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare analytics role
- 3+ years of experience with SQL or similar programming language
- 4+ years of experience presenting data and analytic observations visually
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including complex formulas and pivots
Desired Qualifications
- Experience utilizing professional or facility claims data
- Experience with managed care contract terms
- Exposure to CMS professional payment methodology (i.e. CMS MPFS)
- Experience in creating and optimizing Tableau dashboards for storytelling
