Job Summary
Senior Analyst, Lender Finance at Live Oak Bank: underwrites financing opportunities involving Private Credit non-bank lenders, reviews loan documentation, analyzes borrower financials and collateral, and supports structuring of facilities (warehouse lines, revolving credit, term loans, asset-backed lending). Collaborates with originations, portfolio management, legal, and risk teams to prepare credit materials for initial approval, aids in due diligence and closing, and participates in portfolio management and amendments/renewals. Requires strong credit analysis skills, knowledge of Private Credit lending platforms, and familiarity with regulatory considerations (BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC). Location optional in Wilmington, NC or remote within the United States; expects ongoing client communication and cross-functional coordination on multi-faceted lending transactions.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5+ years of underwriting experience, with direct Lender Finance or Private Credit experience
- Strong knowledge in Private Credit and Direct Lending ecosystem
- Experience evaluating lending platforms, loan portfolios, and structured credit transactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance
