Job Summary
Senior Analyst - Lease Accounting at AECOM responsible for ensuring correct US GAAP and IFRS accounting treatment for lease agreements (real estate, operating and finance), maximizing value from Oracle, CoStar, and BlackLine, and ensuring SOX compliance. duties include close reconciliations, preparation of complex monthly reconciliations and journal entries, pre-review of lease data in CoStar, amortisation schedules, and sublease income adjustments; liaising with internal and external auditors; ensuring regulatory compliance; driving continuous improvement and optimization of systems; delivering KPIs and SLAs for a best-in-class leases accounting service. Requires CPA/equivalent qualifications preferred, 3+ years of accounting experience with leases, and strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills. Location: Bengaluru, India with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years of Leases experience and 1 year in a global organisation
- Experience in operational compliance in shared services
- Strong communication (English language), and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated success in cross-cultural, virtual team environments
