Job Summary
Senior Analyst role supporting StepStone Mexico’s investor relations and reporting team. Responsible for preparing quarterly/annual investor reports and related deliverables for vehicles listed on the Mexican stock exchanges, coordinating internal/external communications, updating firm records with the trustee, monitoring investment activity and performing fee/cash flow analyses, reviewing client deliverables, resolving inquiries from institutional investors and financial advisors, data entry into central databases, translating financial information between English and Spanish, coordinating fund report approvals, and assisting with RFPs/RFIs. Requires fluent Spanish (and strong English) writing skills, experience in financial services, and advanced Excel capabilities. The position emphasizes meticulous reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting regulatory and trust-related operations in a private markets context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or business preferred
- Two or more years of related financial services experience required (understanding of CERPIs/CKDs/publicly listed trusts or working as a trustee)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (writing sample required)
- General familiarity with Mexican financial services industry and reporting requirements of private equity publicly listed securities in Mexico
- Significant experience with Microsoft Excel
- Highly motivated individual with initiative, independence and teamwork skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage time in a detail-oriented environment
- Follow up skills and acute attention to accuracy and detail are essential
- Strong financial accounting skills
