Job Summary
Conduct daily performance attribution calculations relative to benchmarks, manage portfolio returns, positioning, and risk exposures, and oversee back-office operational tasks for trade processing and reconciliation. Develop and enhance analytical models and reporting solutions to support portfolio monitoring, new asset classes, and emerging requirements for effective investment decision-making. Lead the Investment Analytics team with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and timeliness while collaborating with portfolio managers to drive insights. Work outside standard business hours on a rotational basis to ensure continuity of reporting functions.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 7-10 Years progressive experience in related roles
- CFA designation
- Strong programming skills
- Proficiency with financial information systems and data platforms, such as Bloomberg
- Solid understanding with equity, fixed‐income markets, and derivative instruments
- Firm grasp of accounting treatments for equity, bond, and derivative portfolios
- Demonstrates independent thinking, analytical rigor, and the ability to create solutions from first principles
- Strong aptitude to work collaboratively within a team, displaying leadership and maintaining strong working relationships with peers
- Willingness to work outside standard business operating hours on a rotational basis to ensure continuity of reporting functions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience at a financial institution is considered an asset
- Python preferred
