Senior Analyst - Information Governance | US Law Firm | Tokyo

Job Summary

Manage client document transfers, iManage Work migrations, and traditional paper records management for the Asia region. Lead the transition from H: drives to OneDrive, develop C: drive compliance protocols, and handle day-to-day IG Jira tickets. Support data loss prevention efforts, evaluate new IG technology and AI tools, and maintain offsite storage vendor relationships. Deliver end-user training on iManage Work for new joiners, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with Office Administrators and Paralegals to promote best practices. Requires 5-7 years of experience in records management or legal technology with proficiency in iManage Work and IRM. Willing to work additional hours and travel twice annually to support Tokyo, Singapore, and Hong Kong offices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in records management, information governance, knowledge management, or legal technology
  • Confident English communication skills
  • Strong IT applications and data management experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Co-pilot)
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to train and advise lawyers and staff at all levels
  • Willingness to work additional hours
  • Willingness to travel (approximately twice a year and as required) to support international regional offices

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Background in IT training, IT support, or library services
  • Additional competency in Japanese, Mandarin, or Cantonese
  • Proficiency in iManage Work and IRM
