Job Summary
Senior Analyst, Industry Insights Retailers responsible for delivering retail measurement insights and analysis for Retailer clients in South Africa within the Analytics & Insights team. Responsibilities include service management to deliver value analysis aligned with client plans in South Africa, supporting thought leadership and account materials, providing performance and issue analyses, and developing deep knowledge of NielsenIQ RMS solutions. Focus areas include leveraging NIQ Connect for guided analytics, promoting self-service with NIQ Discover, training clients, and ensuring transparent, timely communications. Qualifications emphasize a Statistics background (Masters preferred), strong analytical and presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role emphasizes delivering analytics, customer-focused service, and collaboration across internal teams; remote work is configured as Hybrid in the Johannesburg area.
Required Qualifications
- Graduates preferably with background in Statistics (Masters Degree preferrable)
- Fast learner, curious and interested in exploring data
- Numeric and logical thinking
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- An ability to work independently and in a team
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)
