Job Summary
Design, implement, and support analytics and reports across Ameriprise Finance. Assist in the automation of analytical workflows and partner with business and technology to model reports. Design data storage and retrieval solutions, analyze performance, and investigate unexpected results or data quality issues. Provide feedback on resolutions and communicate findings to the business. Requires a Bachelor's degree in quantitative finance, computer science, or math, plus three years of analytical experience and Python programming skills. Full-time exempt role with a base salary of $81,700–$112,300/year. In-office collaboration is foundational, with at least four days per week required in the office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative finance, Computer science, math, physics, or other appropriate fields
- 3+ years' experience performing analytical analysis or development of models
- Ability to program in python
- Some fluency with data and data management concepts
- Some familiarity with common Software Engineering Development and Production Practices
- Working understanding of Financial concepts
- Valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States

- Ability to work in an environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently; self-starter
- In-depth knowledge of business operations and processes with ability to articulate these processes to others
- Information management acumen including desktop application and data modeling skills
