Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive analysis across OSINT and Deep & Dark Web sources to develop intelligence on threats to national security, utilizing advanced managed-attribution tradecraft to safely elicit critical information from underground environments. Apply an offensive-security lens to exposed-data investigations, assessing how adversaries could operationalize findings to identify real-world risk. Synthesize complex, raw data into high-quality analytic judgments, creating finished intelligence products and peer-reviewing work for accuracy. Brief clients and communities directly, including in-person engagements, and propose new content for external publication. Act as an internal subject-matter expert by documenting team processes and mentoring junior analysts.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering actionable intelligence in support of high-impact national security missions
- Agility to rapidly pivot focus across dynamic global regions as intelligence requirements evolve
- Advanced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Deep & Dark Web (DDW) research experience
- Experience engaging threat actors in online communities while maintaining credible online personas under managed attribution
- Experience working with novel and publicly exposed datasets
- Ability to recognize how an adversary can combine offensive cyber capabilities and exposed data to create real-world risk
- Offensive-security perspective drawn from hands-on red teaming, penetration testing, or equivalent work
- Strong command of Linux and the command line
- Intermediate- to advanced-level ability to script and automate the manipulation and formatting of large datasets
- Advanced understanding of network and telecommunications technologies and topologies
- Experience producing accurate investigations and key judgments for finished intelligence reports
- Experience presenting complex findings to wide audiences, including community calls, executive-level briefings, and direct client engagements
- Willingness to travel periodically for in-person client engagements and briefings
- Track record as an intelligence analyst, ideally supporting the public sector or national security mission space
- Strong writing skills with experience producing finished intelligence products
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
