Senior Analyst, Global Cost and Inventory

Job Summary
Lead and maintain the global standard costing framework in PLEX, overseeing monthly COGS calculations, inventory sub-ledger reviews, and the annual standard cost update process. Direct global cost and inventory initiatives, including quarterly excess and obsolete reviews, annual physical inventory execution, and audit coordination for financial statements and bank audits. Ensure proper product part setup, configuration, and data governance while developing standard operating procedures and desktop work instructions. Perform deep-dive trend and variance analysis on inventory balances and write-offs to provide strategic insights to senior leadership. Maintain internal controls across global operations and serve as a Business Process Owner to drive cross-functional alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience
- at least 3 years experience in inventory or cost analysis
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills
- Possess strong technology abilities, including Microsoft Excel and database applications
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Self-motivated. Initiates activities with high degree of drive and commitment to continuous improvement
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- hybrid office schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office
