Job Summary
Validate Manulife retail fund Net Asset Values (NAV) and ensure variances are identified, documented, and resolved. Maintain compliance with fund governance, regulatory, and audit requirements while escalating operational issues, errors, and breaches to the team, business partners, and vendors within prescribed timelines. Implement and validate changes to procedures and documentation to support operational efficiency initiatives. Participate in monthly/quarterly governance and service calls with business unit and internal stakeholders. Actively engage in trainings to align team knowledge and contribute to department objectives. Work in a hybrid environment with rotating shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or accounting or financial designation
- At least 2-3 years relevant work experience in fund accounting, securities instruments, settlements, foreign exchange transactions, reconciliations, and investment accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and willing to collaborate with other team members
- Ability to work in rotating shift
