Job Summary
Conduct franchise feasibility, market opportunity, and investment analyses to support strategic hotel development initiatives. Prepare deal value analyses by evaluating market revenue, capital deployment scenarios, and pricing strategies. Perform franchise contract and pipeline valuation analyses using discounted cash flow, net present value, and internal rate of return methodologies. Develop financial projections and business cases, maintain recurring deal valuation and development reporting, and evaluate new hotel opportunities for strategic alignment. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop analytical tools, provide forward-looking business insights, and support management presentations and Board-level discussions. This four days onsite hybrid role is based in North Bethesda, MD and is not eligible for sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Hospitality, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, real estate feasibility, investment analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical discipline
- Experience supporting business decisions through quantitative analysis and financial evaluation
- Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into actionable business insights
- Strong financial analysis and financial modeling capabilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of investment valuation methodologies including DCF, NPV, and IRR analysis
- Ability to analyze market, property, and business performance data to identify trends and opportunities
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-financial audiences
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and critical reasoning skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across functions
- Demonstrated organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Adaptability and ability to perform effectively in ambiguous or evolving business situations
