Job Summary
Forecast fund-level performance and analyze the economics of a large commercial real estate platform, translating asset-level activity into fund-level outcomes. Own, maintain, and enhance fund models by updating projected and realized returns while tracking liquidity, distributions, capital calls, and fees. Drive portfolio strategy including hold-period optimization and exit planning, then synthesize data into clear observations and actionable recommendations for senior management. Partner with the Acquisitions team to deliver pro forma KPIs ahead of Investment Committee review and support fundraising efforts with timely analysis on distribution timing. Lead the design and build-out of automated dashboards to serve stakeholder needs across the platform.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Fluency in cash-flow and return modeling
- Fluency in fund-level waterfalls
- Advanced Excel skills
- Complex formula-driven models
- Sensitivity analysis
- Model auditing
- Moderate financial modeling and analytical skills using Excel
- Ability to update or modify fund models
- Basic understanding of real estate/fund concepts
- Basic understanding of financial statements
- Ability to identify and resolve reporting issues
