Senior Analyst Financial Reporting

Job Summary
Senior Financial Reporting Analyst responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements under US GAAP, consolidations for multiple entities including international subsidiaries, foreign currency translations, and supporting full close processes for month-, quarter-, and year-end periods. Tasks include journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory reconciliation, audit support, cross-functional collaboration, development and implementation of financial reporting policies, and generation of ad-hoc management reports. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of accounting/finance experience with a focus on financial reporting, GAAP proficiency, Excel and ERP familiarity; oil and gas trading experience strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting/finance work experience with focus on financial reporting and analysis
- GAAP knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems preferred
- Ability to work well in teams as well as independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and deadline-driven
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Oil and gas trading industry experience preferred
- Direct trading experience strongly preferred; energy trading exposure preferred
