Job Summary
Senior Specialist in Finance Shared Services responsible for end-to-end accounts payable for all Airwallex entities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX, resolving vendor inquiries, performing month-end and year-end AP reconciliations, supporting internal and external audits, maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relationships, and driving process improvements and automation. Will provide training to junior team members, collaborate with multiple business units, and report to the Finance Manager (Shanghai).
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience; Big Four experience advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
- ERP system knowledge (Oracle or similar)
- Strong accounts payable process knowledge and practical application
- Advanced Excel skills advantageous
- Ability to manage complex, local or international projects focused on process improvement
- Strong communication; ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Independent, capable of navigating ambiguity
- Willingness to work in a hyper-growth environment
