Job Summary
SAP Senior Analyst Sales and Distribution (SD) owns end-to-end OTC lifecycle in SAP S/4HANA, leading SD process design, configuration, and solution ownership across order management, pricing, billing, and delivery/shipping. Collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to support current SAP S/4HANA SD and integrate with third-party platforms (tax, commissions, shipping/carriers, EDI/OMS). Performs requirements elicitation, design, testing, documentation, and change management in a matrixed, global environment, supporting US and other entities. Responsibilities include pricing design and optimization, credit/order controls, outputs management, rebates/commissions/settlements, batch-managed SD processes, ATP/aATP, and ensuring end-to-end process integrity with MM, FI/CO, LE/Shipping, and potentially WM/EWM; plus leading test automation initiatives and ensuring fit-to-standard solutions with strong documentation and training materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience supporting and enhancing SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) solutions, with end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) ownership
- At least two full lifecycle SAP implementations (S/4HANA preferred) spanning requirements, configuration, testing, cutover/go-live, and hypercare
- Demonstrated ability to design, configure, and support core SD/OTC processes in production (e.g., sales order management through delivery and billing)
- Experience integrating SAP with third-party solutions (e.g., tax, commission, shipping/carrier, EDI/OMS)
- Working knowledge of cross-module integration points (SD with MM and FI/CO, and LE/Shipping)
- Exposure to WM/EWM is a strong plus
- Strong analytical and documentation skills; ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and testable solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed, global team supporting US and other entities (including overlap with US business hours as needed)
- Preferred: Experience in regulated/controlled industries (e.g., medical device) with understanding of compliance, audit readiness, and validation considerations
- Exposure to SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) and trade/export compliance concepts
- Experience delivering projects using SAP Activate methodology
- Integration tooling exposure (e.g., IDoc/ALE/EDI, SAP APIs/OData services, SAP Integration Suite)
- Data migration exposure using S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit / LTMC (and/or LSMW/BAPI-based approaches)
- Exposure to SAP Business AI capabilities (including Joule) and interest in adopting modern SAP innovations relevant to SD
