Job Summary
Senior Analyst, East Coast SCM Team 2 focused on freight forwarding operations. Responsible for inbound/outbound freight forwarding daily operations, coordinating ocean and air import/export services, inland freight, warehousing and distribution, updating databases, generating operational reports to the Manager, and ad-hoc project support. Key duties include processing import/export shipments with clients, vendors, agents, and airlines; preparing shipping documents (BL, AWB, POD, Delivery Orders, etc.); tracking shipments; coordinating with customers, agents, and carriers; ensuring compliance with customer requirements; and maintaining professional communication with customers. Requires strong Excel proficiency, ability to handle documents, and attention to detail. Location is Duluth, GA with in-office work expectation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 2-5 Years of Direct Experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required
- Intermediate-level MS Excel Required
- Problem-solving and critical thinking ability Required
- Detail oriented Required
- Experience with MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint Required
- Self-starter that can operate under minimal supervision Required
