Job Summary
Senior Analyst leads North America data center market coverage and contributes to global insights. Drive research strategy, coordinate primary and secondary research, conduct deep-dive market analysis of supply, demand, pricing, and investment activity, and develop forecasting models for colocation, hyperscale, on-prem, and edge computing segments. Produce flagship market intelligence, author reports and articles, present findings at industry events, and collaborate with global peers to ensure consistency. Provide client advisory support for institutional investors, developers, and technology companies; support pitch presentations and new business development. Engage with data center operators, cloud providers, telecoms, and investors; monitor regulatory and sustainability developments and emerging technology shifts. Lead and develop team members, align research outputs with commercial objectives, and contribute to thought leadership. Desired capabilities include economics/finance/real estate fundamentals, 3-5+ years in CRE research with data center experience, cloud/edge familiarity, strong written/verbal communication, and expertise in data visualization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, real estate, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate research, with prior data center sector experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of data center fundamentals (power, cooling, connectivity) and market dynamics including development activity, major players, and investment trends
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to clients
- Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in data visualization
