Senior Analyst: Client Pricing

Job Summary
Lead the creation, evaluation, and execution of client fee arrangements to drive pricing outcomes and profitability. Conduct detailed financial analysis for client requests and RFPs, assessing market competitiveness to provide recommendations to Partners. Develop rates, alternative fee arrangements, and matter budgets while utilizing tools like Foundation Scoping and Harvey AI. Build Power BI dashboards highlighting key metrics and leverage machine learning to automate pricing and extract insights. Maintain budget templates, support competitor analysis, and collaborate with attorneys and business development to draft financial components for RFP submissions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS-Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, IT or Business-related field
- Prior experience in professional services pricing, negotiations and related areas
- Prior experience of working within professional services organization or law firm
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI & Microsoft SQL
- Experience with law firm technology such as Foundation Scoping, Iridium, Aderant Expert, BigHand, and other matter planning software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment and effectively support the demanding needs of the Firm
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of rate structures, discount arrangements and alternative fee arrangements
- Creative thinker and comes up with new ideas to help the pricing team
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines with shifting priorities
- Flexibility to adjust work schedule according to workload demands
- Must be a self-starter with a high level of initiative
- Strong customer service skills, able to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion
- Exercises solid strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
