Job Summary
Design and develop Geneva RSL custom reports, administer the Geneva system and application, and address accounting data issues reported by users. Collaborate with full-stack developers to build APIs for data load and extraction, while implementing Geneva upgrades and patch releases. Integrate Geneva with data warehouses, Security Master, Order Management Systems, and risk platforms. Troubleshoot with Advent and request enhancements, working closely with product development teams using Geneva, EDM, AllVue, and BBG. Perform requirements analysis, application design, and implementation for investment management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- 3-8 years of experience in data analysis, operations analytics, reporting, or data quality roles
- Experience working with any general programming languages (python, c# etc.)
- Knowledge of databases and experience working with relational databases like SQLServer, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Financial Industry experience engaged in Private Equity/Credit type of business domain
- Experience in one or more of bank loans/leveraged loans, fixed-income products, CLOs,derivatives, ABS (Asset Backed Securities) and CMBS (Commercial Mortgage-BackedSecurities) products
- Understanding of Data Engineering tools and platforms (data pipelines, data lake)
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience in version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior working experience integrating Geneva with other systems – e.g. Order Management System, Reference/Security Master, Pricing System etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Advent Geneva experience
- Knowledge of Private Credit/Equity Funds
- Experience working with Advent Geneva, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Solid understanding of how these investment systems operate and integrate with one another
- Great familiarity with financial instruments and accounting principles
- Excellent RSL development skills
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
