Senior Analyst/Associate, Credit Investment

Job Summary
Conduct preliminary analysis of credit investment opportunities by reviewing marketing materials, public information, and existing credit documents. Execute due diligence on CI investments, including meeting with management teams, reviewing data-room documentation, and building detailed financial models with downside scenarios. Participate in the investment decision process by drafting recommendation memos and presenting proposals to the Investment Committee. Monitor portfolio performance through monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, tracking variances against underwritten cases and internal Risk Management Group guidelines. Liaise with Legal, Risk, Tax, and Finance departments to support transaction execution and secondary market opportunities. This role is based in London and requires 2–4 years of experience in credit funds or investment banking.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) to four (4) years of experience performing the above tasks at a similar Credit fund, in Leveraged Finance or Investment Banking
- Excellent financial and accounting analytical skills
- Very good attention to detail and presentation of information
- Superior level of proficiency with business software and analytical tools
- English required
- Business or comparable university degree with high academic standing
Desired Qualifications
- Direct credit investing experience is considered an asset
- Professional designation: completed final level of CFA is considered an asset
