Job Summary
Oversee asset management for a portfolio of approximately 30 senior housing equity investments by executing business plans and monitoring operating performance against targets such as occupancy, NOI, labor costs, and margins. Assist in developing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts covering leasing assumptions, operating expenses, and capital expenditures while preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual materials for JV partners and senior leadership. Conduct property visits and prepare local market assessments to inform strategic decisions. This role requires 50% out-of-area travel and supports Welltower's mission to transform senior living and healthcare infrastructure across the US, Canada, and UK.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in real estate and/or finance
- Previous real estate financial modeling experience
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in data management and reporting
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and verification of employment, education, and other credentials relevant to the position
- 50% out-of-area and overnight travel
