Job Summary
Senior Analyst – Application Security acts as a bridge between the Dalian-based Application Security team and Canada-based software engineering teams. You will actively “hack” web applications and APIs to identify weaknesses, automate security checks within DevSecOps pipelines, and provide clear remediation guidance to developers. You’ll align part of your working hours with the North American time zone (Canada shift) for critical meetings and collaboration, host video calls to present findings, and communicate effectively to native English-speaking teams in Canada and local Dalian teams.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent English communication (spoken and written)
- Hands-on Penetration Testing experience targeting Web Applications and APIs (ethical hacking)
- Experience with DevSecOps and automation: integrating SAST/SCA/DAST into CI/CD pipelines
- Developer-friendly mindset with ability to understand software architecture and provide practical remediation guidance to developers
