Job Summary
Senior Analyst in AI Engineering and Automation responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions within Nasdaq's Corporate Finance space. A hands-on technical role requiring strong Python proficiency, AWS/cloud experience, and familiarity with Generative AI concepts (LLMs). Collaboration with dispersed teams, stakeholder engagement, and contribution to software development best practices. Responsibilities include building reliable AI solutions, collecting user feedback, participating in design iterations, and ensuring quality, performance, and timely delivery. The role emphasizes practical AI applications in finance, knowledge of RPA tools as a plus, and an ability to explain technical concepts concisely to team members and stakeholders. Hybrid work model (home/office/mix) under NasdaqBlend; education/experience aligned with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work history.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 2 to 4 years of software development experience with exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools.
- Strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystem; experience with AWS and cloud technologies.
- Experience with Git and modern development environments (e.g., Visual Studio Code).
- Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and Large Language Models; understanding practical applications in finance.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with RPA tools (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism), web-scraping, and Spec-Driven Development methodologies.
