Job Summary
Develop and maintain pricing tools, data pipelines, and analytical workflows using SQL for data engineering and Python for data science. Act as the subject matter expert and assumption owner for Medicare Part D pricing, supporting the bid cycle and forecasting activities while applying statistical methods to transform data and deliver scalable solutions. Build familiarity with end-to-end pricing processes, including ETL and ELT concepts, and utilize Excel, VBA, Power Query, and Power BI to develop reporting and communicate analyses. Collaborate with business partners and technical teams to balance competing priorities, demonstrating comfort with artificial intelligence tools to improve productivity. This role supports CVS Health and Aetna's government services pharmacy business within a high-performing actuarial team.
Required Qualifications
- Prior healthcare experience
- At least 2 SOA exams passed
- Experience supporting pricing, actuarial analysis, or related analytical functions
- Experience with SQL for data engineering and Python for data science, including working with large, complex datasets
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA
- Strong communication skills
- Solid technical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies
- Comfort working with artificial intelligence tools
- Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of related experience
