Senior Analyst, ABL Inventory Appraisal

Job Summary
Conduct inventory data analysis to determine Net Orderly Liquidation Value (NOLV) and build valuation models for Asset-Based Lending projects. Execute due diligence, data collection, and research across retail, industrial, and consumer sectors to prepare quantitative and qualitative appraisal reports for client sign-off. Perform back-up exhibit calls, solo job inspections, and client meetings to verify information and document asset conditions, while communicating directly with banks and companies to address operational challenges. Maintain the Appraisal Application database and adhere to USPAP standards, working independently to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related area of study
- At least four years' relevant work experience
- Experience preferably in a financial, lending, audit, or consulting environment
- MS Word and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas
- Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets
- Understanding of inventory and other asset accounting methodologies
- Demonstrated analytical, presentation, and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects under tight deadlines
- High degree of integrity and business acumen
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Periodic travel of up to 20%
- Proficiency in and adherence to USPAP standards, particularly as they apply to inventory valuations
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of inventory and other asset accounting methodologies is preferred
