Job Summary
Conduct on-site field examinations of collateral records and financial reports to assess values securing loans and identify areas of weakness or fraudulent activity. Perform detail testing on accounts receivable, inventory, bank statements, and tax filings while evaluating accounting system controls and data integrity. Document findings, present conclusions to clients, and manage engagements from start to finish as the primary contact. Requires Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, minimum four years in field exams, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Remote position with travel to U.S. borrower locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, audit or finance
- Equivalent experience in finance, public accounting, or banking
- Minimum of 4 years prior experience in field exam
- Knowledge of borrowing base lending, Asset Based Lending (ABL) or other forms of secured finance
- Financial books and records or financial auditing experience
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
- Advanced proficiency with MS Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of integrity
- Business acumen
- Ability to travel to visit borrower locations within the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Forensic accounting/ financial due diligence experience
- Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint
