Job Summary
Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer for the Vital Signs Monitor Group within Analog Devices' Industrial and Healthcare Business Unit. Focus areas include low power, high-performance AFEs for wearable health and clinical healthcare markets. Responsibilities include IC design from initial specification through design, verification, documentation and layout supervision; generation of behavioral models for system-level simulation and verification; silicon evaluation and characterization for product introduction; and assisting test engineering with design for test and manufacturability. Requires BSEE with 5+ years of experience or an MSEE/Ph.D. with 2+ years in high-performance analog design, plus strong familiarity with data converter techniques, and Cadence/Spectre/HSPICE tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adhere to project schedules are essential. Some travel (approximately 10%) is expected.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE with 5+ years relevant design experience or an MSEE/Ph.D. focused on high-performance analog design techniques with 2+ years relevant design experience
- Thorough familiarity with data converter design techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with analog and digital behavioral modeling
- Familiar with Cadence schematic capture, Spectre and/or HSPICE circuit simulation
